General conditions Verhaert Masters in Innovation Academy
1. Application of general conditions for registration and participation at a Verhaert Masters in Innovation training
1.1. Through subscription the participant accepts that these general conditions are exclusively organizing the agreement between both parties and agrees to follow them.
1.2. These general conditions for participating in a Verhaert Masters in Innovation training are available to read on our website.
1.3. These conditions have complete precedence over general and special conditions of the client, even if they are opposite to ours.
2. Register for a Verhaert training
2.1. A participant can subscribe for a training at Verhaert Masters in Innovation by registering their personal information through the online registration form or by email ([email protected]).
2.2. Verhaert will confirm the registration within 3 working days. If the participant has not heard from us within these 3 days, he is requested to contact us at +32 3 250 19 00.
2.3. All trainings will be organized on condition that there are sufficient subscriptions.
2.4. Every second and next participant of the same company for the same training receives 15% discount on the registration fee. The registration fee of the first participant remains 100%.
2.5. Customers who ordered in 2017 and start-ups established in 2017 have 15% discount on the registration fee.
2.6. Discounts can only be combined with the subsidiary of the ‘KMO portefeuille’.
2.7. All disputes between parties concerning this contract fall under Belgian law and jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp.
3. Fees and billing
3.1. The fee for a Verhaert Masters in Innovation training can be found online or on the leaflet. This fee always excludes VAT and includes catering and training material.
3.2. Billing will take place before the start of the training and invoices are payable within 15 days after the training.
4. Cancelling a subscription
4.1. The subscription of a training can be canceled without any costs up until 2 weeks before the start of the training.
4.2. Cancellation is only possible by written communication (mail or email).
4.3. If a participant is prevented from being present at the training, it is possible to indicate someone else to take their place after notifying Verhaert in advance.
4.4. If the participant is not present at the training without any notice, the full registration fee is due and the participant has no right on a complete or partial repayment of the bill.
4.5. Verhaert has the right to postpone training dates without giving reason, as well as to completely cancel a training without compensation. Verhaert retains the right to do so without canceling the underlying contract. In case of any postponement or cancellation, Verhaert will inform the participants who already registered as soon as possible. Participants have the right to unsubscribe and get the already paid registration fee repaid.
5. Safety and responsibility
5.1. All participants are expected to follow all safety instructions. In case of refusal, the participant is completely held responsible for his actions.
5.2. The participant takes notice that Verhaert is not responsible for any damage (both material and physical), caused by accidents of any kind before, during or after the training.
5.3. Verhaert cannot be held responsible for possible damage that may be caused to the participant’s property during the training. Participants must take care of their property at all times.
6. Privacy and copyright
6.1. Your personal details will be included in the Verhaert database for commercial and administrative purposes and are under no circumstances provided to third parties. In accordance with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on Privacy Protection, you are entitled to access and correct this information held about you.
6.2. The participant acknowledges that all course material, provided by Verhaert is and remains intellectual and industrial property of Verhaert. Text, images and any other items in the proved course material are protected by copyright. The participant is not entitled to provide this course material to third parties to assist or to use them him- or herself.
